Busy is one and all

Well, folks it is time again for another celebration. To get swept up in all activity is so easy to do. I think back on the time I was young and my children and grandchildren were young. Now my great granddaughters are watching for Santa. It certainly is a magic time. It is now and always the time to praise our Lord! Soon we will be making another resolution;   that this time we were going to keep. What a wonderful for us seniors . We have the great memories sprinkled with some sadness but we have the experience and knowledge that all will work out in Gods time. No rushing around to purchase the right gift, make tons of cookies that we can't give away after Christmas, have house full of company and many young children running around and of course the one child who is ill at Christmas.
Holidays are quiet in my house. We usually have a small get together prior to Christmas day. Sometimes we eat out, go to a movie, play games or just talk. Since I have moved to Florida, I arise early and go to the beach and take in the quiet beauty. Our family, like others, have difficulties we put aside that day. Christmas Day Pam, Cathy, Gloria will help with Joy to the Children and dress as pound puppies for the children. I might read a new book while they are gone if the dogs and cat allow me.

Must watch the news and am so glad the world is in God's hands. Good night!

Good evening all. Is everyone preparing for Thanksgiving? As I go through different stages of life, the holidays take on a different meaning, different plans, and expectations. We, as a family plan to serve  both holiday meals for the less fortunate. I am sure this will  provide us with a true spirit of giving.

WE are the "sorority sisters" [named by aunt and cousin, Wendy] Gloria, Judy. Pam, and Cathy. We are fortunate to be together and support each other. We are having great fun! You will know who I am referring to as I write this blog.

Just a little introduction for now. Take care, Judy

I enjoy my friends - old or young, liberal or conservative, near or far.  Thank you for being part of my life.

Welcome to Let's Eat Pickles, a blogspot for folks from generation to generations.  Let's bridge the gap and knock down walls.  While we eat pickles.
